Hi There!

Welcome to my blog. I set up my Folksy shop in September 2010 selling revamped & recycled button jewellery - take a look www.folksy.com/shops/mamphii. I also have some of my vintage rings in "Daisy & Lola's", a great vintage shop in Norwich and sell at Clutter City Markets at the Norwich Arts Centre.

Filling up my Folksy Shop

My son & I went to see "Despicable Me" today - it was very silly & very funny! We walked to the cinema through the autumn leaves and my son commented that the leaves looked like they had been varnished. They looked beautiful.

In between doing that, I have been listing new items in my Folksy Shop.

Visit my Folksy Shop to see some of my new pieces - I've still got lots to list and some things to keep back for sales x

Pics of New Stuff!

Leopardo Lovelies
Flower Power
Vintage Gypsy Roses
Rule Brittania
I've managed to photograph most of the pieces I finished making last night. Everything looks very shiny and sparkly as it has all beeen hand lacquered. Here are just a few of the things I made earlier............

A Night of Firework Fun!

My son & I decided not to go to a busy wet bonfire night - opting to stay at home in the warm, with sparklers in the garden and watching the fireworks from the comfort of our living room and keeping our slightly neurotic cat company. I have had a most productive night making rings, hair slides, lots of ear studs, pendants and brooches. I'm pretty happy with some Union Jack button hair slides. I'll post the photos in the morning. Happy Bonfire night! x

More brooch designs

A couple more ideas for brooches, I'm really liking the pink & purple one.

New brooch designs

pretty in pink
pretty in teal
Have been busy making brooches today - using coconut shell buckles ( from Textilegarden) with pretty cabochons and buttons . I've decided I'm going to keep the round one for myself & will probably be wearing it on my cardigan to work tomorrow.
all mine!!
