I have been so busy over the past 2 weeks and now I have almost finished making all my bits and pieces for the Xmas market.

Clutter City preparations!

Have just had lovely relaxing weekend with Scott & Cole at my parent's house. After getting home I have spent some time thinking & preparing for my Yuletide Market stall. My stall is going to have the feel of a vintage tea party with cakes & cake stands, little vintage tea cups and pretty china plates all showing off my jewellery to best effect! I've also made some super mini bunting (way too much of it - it stretches the length of our living room!) out of Amy Butler material and green polka dot ribbon. I've even roped my Mum in to making some wonderful fairy cakes which will look both very vintage & xmassey.

I've managed to make quite a lot of things already - still some cutsie vintage rings and pendants to go. Have got some super-sized buttons - and I mean BIG - and they make fab statement brooches. Already have a black one on my winter coat which has caught a few eyes at work.

Just to say, once I have recovered from Clutter City preparations, I will re-stock my Folksy shop with lots of new products, probably in time for Xmas.

Have just found out my application to have a stall at the Yuletide market has been accepted. Going to have to get busy making! All in time for 4th December x

Vintage D&G Chrome buttons

I have received 8 vintage Dolce & Gabbana Chrome buttons (1.5cm diameter) today - they look fabulous. I also got some lovely laser-cut flower acrylic buttons too but the D&G ones are just fine! x

Filling up my Folksy Shop

My son & I went to see "Despicable Me" today - it was very silly & very funny! We walked to the cinema through the autumn leaves and my son commented that the leaves looked like they had been varnished. They looked beautiful.

In between doing that, I have been listing new items in my Folksy Shop.

I've managed to photograph most of the pieces I finished making last night. Everything looks very shiny and sparkly as it has all beeen hand lacquered. Here are just a few of the things I made earlier............
