Welcome to my blog. I set up my Folksy shop in September 2010 selling revamped & recycled button jewellery - take a look www.folksy.com/shops/mamphii. I also have some of my vintage rings in "Daisy & Lola's", a great vintage shop in Norwich and sell at Clutter City Markets at the Norwich Arts Centre.
This week I have been having a sort through my many hundreds of buttons, sorting them by colour into old-fashioned sweetie jars. I hadn't realised quite how many buttons I had. I have been kindly given so many over the last few months. Plus I have received about 5 packages of vintage buttons in the post this week. I just can't get enough!!
I have been working on some new ideas over the last couple of weeks. I had taken delivery of some more buttons from my favourite ebay seller and have been mixing antique gold with navy and burgundy.
I have worn my navy & gold pendant this weekend and really love it and the ring I hardly take off!

Katie aka Vintage Lipstick is a 14 year old girl who has set up her own YouTube Channel and blog. She has 500 subscribers to her YT channel and reviews make-up and beauty products. She contacted me because she liked my designs and so she has reviewed 2 of my rings and gave them good reviews.
I have booked myself onto a workshop at The Make Place in Norwich. I have walked past the window on numerous occasions always promising to go in and learn how to use my sewing machine but have always felt a bit embarrassed and put it off. Well, at the weekend, whilst going to have a nose around the Aladdin's Cave that is Loose's, I plucked up the courage and went in. I have enrolled onto a cushion-making morning workshop later this month. Maybe I'll be able to dust off my sewing machine and get it working at long last!
My first blog of 2011 - and a very short but happy one at that. Bumped into Sarah of "Daisy & Lola's" today and was really pleased to hear my vintage rings have been selling well. Am taking a further 20 rings in next week - a mixture of cute vintage, flapper girl button, gold square and retro swan rings.
Have just got home after a great day at Clutter City (oh and pizza afterwards). What a really lovely day. I was so chuffed that so many people liked my jewellery and it has been a real success! Sold lots of my jewellery which is all good. Met lots of lovely people too x
