Just to let you know my jewellery (especially teacup rings, gypsy rose earrings & baby button earrings) will still be available through Poppy Valentine, The Royal Arcade, Norwich. Unfortunately I am not planning any craft fairs/ stalls in the coming year - just too many things to juggle!
Equally my Folksy shop will also be closed for the next few months.
Many Thanks to everyone who has bought my jewellery over the past year. I hope to be back soon (with buttons on!) xxx

New Dolls House Jewellery
I have ventured away from buttons recently and have been experimenting with dolls house bits & pieces - including teacup rings, fruit pie rings, mini fruit tart/ pink wafer and chocolate lollipop earrings. All very cute!
I will be selling my dolls house jewellery through Norwich boutiques, Poppy Valentine (the Skipper Arcade in the City Centre) and Daisy & Lola's (now relocated to AuntyNana's on St Benedicts Street). They also stock my gypsy rose earrings plus other goodies including union jack button hairslides and the flapper girl button rings.

Clutter City Summer Fete Over & Done!
Have been at Clutter City Summer Fete today - a little quiet in terms of business but lots of people enjoying themselves and being very complimentary about my wares!! The artwork by children on the foyer walls was just wonderful.
The place had a lovely vibe mainly because of the great stuff going on outside including the ice cream van, BBQ, face painting & live music from the Norwich Ukelele Society.
I bought lots of goodies including a retro cushion cover from Kelly, a lovely cushion with Russian dolls on and turquoise bobbles, some silver earrings, some delicious cupcakes (ummm, the peanut butter ones were divine!!) and I won some robot badges for my son & his cousins.
Next fair is the 14th August in The Plantation Garden.

Clutter City Countdown
http://ukhandmade.co.uk/events/clutter-city-3rd-birthday-spring-soiree
2 days and 3 sleeps to go until Clutter City on Saturday. Am really looking forward to it again and hope to do as well although times are much harder with everyone having less cash to spare. Even more reason to buy recycled and DIY goods than putting money in the pocket of High Street giants. I'm hoping I'm all organised for the market - have finished crafting and making so just making sure I pack everything to take. My fab Mum is making more of the popular vintage cakes for the stall. They were as popular as hotcakes last time!!!!!

Folksy Friday blog hop!
Last night I finished making the last batch of rings for my stall at Clutter City, Norwich Arts Centre on 2nd April. I made a batch of flapper girl button rings and my faves, the vintage red and antique glass button rings.
I have a week to spare - which is great. No last minute panic! Well, not yet anyway......

lorra lorra rings!
Have been busy over the past couple of weeks making and crafting. Some of my sweetie rings will now be available in Lady Luck's Boutique and a wider selection in Aunty Nana's on St. Benedict's Street. Very satisfying to see all the rings lined up, almost ready to go.
Have dyed my hair brown - it has been blond since I was 15 so keep surprising myself when I catch my reflection! However, am really liking it x

New Profile on Folksy
http://www.folksy.com/users/mamphii
I have mastered the art of HTML with the Hilary Haptree's helpful hints on Folksy. It was very time consuming to paragraph. head, make bold text etc but it does make my Profile look more professional.
Here is a link to her hints

New Rings on Folksy
I have had a great day. It was a bit of an early start - Scott got up at 6 to get down to Heathrow to fly up to Scotland for a gig. My son & I went to the cinema to see "Gnomeo & Juliet" - it was pretty good. Ashley Jensen's character, the water-spouting frog was very funny and Cole has been reciting the lines " your love is doomed, your love is dead!!" all day. We had a lovely lunch and then wandered home. We found a frog on the pavement and it was about to jump into the busy road but a kind woman donned her gloves and threw it back on to the grass in front of the church.
I then had chance to make some rings whilst Cole played with his Playmobil and Lego.
Here are some of my creations. The buttons are sewn together with silver thread. The main buttons are circa 1960s moulded plastic buttons.
I'm now in the process of making quite a few more in anticipation of having a stall at ClutterCity

My Button Store
This week I have been having a sort through my many hundreds of buttons, sorting them by colour into old-fashioned sweetie jars. I hadn't realised quite how many buttons I had. I have been kindly given so many over the last few months. Plus I have received about 5 packages of vintage buttons in the post this week. I just can't get enough!!

Vintage Pendants & Rings
I have been working on some new ideas over the last couple of weeks. I had taken delivery of some more buttons from my favourite ebay seller and have been mixing antique gold with navy and burgundy.
I have worn my navy & gold pendant this weekend and really love it and the ring I hardly take off!
